No. The referral credit is only valid towards your subscription. Domain and SSL certificates purchases are debited from the credit card on file.

Navigate to your account page and check the referral section to know how many friends use your referral URL and signed up for an account.
My friend used my referral code but I have not received the credit yet. What happened?
Your friend needs to have selected a plan for the referral credit to be applied to both accounts. You can check if you friend subscribed to an account by navigating to your account and checking the referral section.
